ATIEL and UEIL have recently co-signed a letter which was sent to the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), in response to their 2023 Guidance on Avoided Emissions.
Spearheaded by the American Petroleum Institute (API), a significant number of global industry associations joined forces to show support for the lubricants industry perspective on the guidance, which, in its current wording, would deprive societies of the potential to avoid significant levels of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by limiting the promotion and subsequent conversion of users to better product solutions.
