NYCO is pleased to announce that its Newnan, GA, plant, which opened in mid‑2025, is now fully operational and producing NYCOBASE® synthetic ester base oils in the United States.
This new facility operates under the leadership of Frank Kroto, the new General Manager of NYCO America. “With more than 20 years of experience in the lubricant market, I am proud to support this new U.S production site, where we are manufacturing high-quality, high-performance synthetic esters designed to meet changing market demands. This facility represents a significant milestone in our expansion strategy and strengthens our ability to serve the North America market better”, said Frank.
NYCO’s Newnan plant will supply the American market with synthetic ester base oils for both industrial and automotive applications.
The Newnan plant also manufactures HX‑1, NYCOBASE® FG food-grade base oils, engineered to meet the highest food safety standards while delivering exceptional performance. The HX‑1 NYCOBASE® FG series is free of PFAS and MOAH, making it a premium choice for H1 food‑grade lubricant formulations that meet the demanding requirements of the food processing industry.
