Independent marketer SIP has announced a major restructuring of its senior leadership team. The move aligns executive responsibilities with the company’s ambitious global expansion plans and long-term strategic priorities.
Established in 1987 by founders Michael Hind and Carlton Colcord, the business has officially transitioned into a dynamic second-generation family enterprise. Following a comprehensive organisational review, SIP has confirmed three pivotal executive appointments to drive its next phase of commercial growth.
Frank Colcord takes the helm as Chairman, while Bead Oliver steps into the role of Managing Director. They will continue their established leadership partnership, focusing on corporate governance and strategic direction. Joining them is David Smith, who has been appointed Commercial Director. David brings significant industry leadership and commercial experience, specialising in developing robust high-growth business strategies.
“I am delighted to take the role of Chair and support Bead and David in taking SIP into new territories,” said Frank Colcord. “It’s an exciting time for the whole company.”
Managing Director Bead Oliver added that the new structure ensures the business is fully equipped for growth. “We have reviewed our senior management structure to ensure responsibilities are aligned with strategic priorities,” Bead stated. “We have a solid business established and are now ready to expand. We have an amazing team at SIP, and knowing they are all behind us as we move forward is incredibly
rewarding.”
David Smith added “I am incredibly proud to join the SIP Ltd board at such a pivotal time. The combination of a forward-thinking leadership team and a highly capable, motivated workforce gives us the perfect platform to accelerate our growth and deliver on our ambitious shared goals.”
