Iconic British lubricant brand Duckhams Oils has expanded its marketing network in Indonesia by signing a new distribution partnership agreement with PT Grande Bahana Nusa Semarang. GBN Group, a superior national distributor of lubricants and automotive products, has become the authorised Duckhams distributor for the Central Java region.
At a special event, an agreement was signed by Mr Hendrik, Managing Director of PT Indonesia Lubricant Energy, as the master distributor of Duckhams Indonesia, and Mr Raveldho, President Director of PT Grande Bahana Nusa Semarang. The ceremony took place at the GBN Headquarters and was attended by guests, including business colleagues, academia and media representatives.
The original British motor oil since 1899, Duckhams is committed to delivering high-quality lubricants with cutting-edge technology to support vehicle engine performance and protection. “With the presence of an official distributor in Semarang, we are optimistic that Duckhams can expand its market reach and bring products closer to consumers,” said Mr Hendrik.
“This signing marks a strategic step for Duckhams in strengthening its presence in Central Java, one of the largest automotive markets in Indonesia,” stated Syafrian Effendi, Country Manager of Duckhams Indonesia. He added, “We have prepared special and effective strategies to win the lubricant competition in Indonesia, particularly in Central Java.”
The collaboration marks a new milestone for Duckhams, reinforcing its presence and offering premium lubricant options to the Indonesian market. Mr Muhidin, the Commissioner of PT GBN, welcomed the partnership. “We are proud to be trusted as Duckhams’ official distribution partner. Duckhams products have been known for their high performance and consistent quality since 1899. We are ready to expand the network and ensure product availability throughout Central Java,” he said.
