BRB launches new engine oil additive package Petrolad® 9332 globally to keep machines moving

BRB Lube oil Additives & Chemicals, a leading global supplier of lubricant oil additives and specialty chemicals, has released its new product Petrolad® 9332 for its customers from all major global markets. It’s the latest addition to BRB’s Petrolad® brand family, purposed to boost the performance, efficiency and endurance of the automotive and industrial lubricant systems.

Petrolad® 9332 is a high-quality additive package engineered to meet the performance requirements of light-duty engine oils aligned with API SN standards, in applications where official API (American Petroleum Institute) certification is not required. Comprehensive engine testing has been completed, and the results proved that Petrolad® 9332 delivers performance consistent with API SN standards, demonstrating its reliability and technical robustness.

“This new launch reinforces our commitment to deliver value-added solutions to our customers while opening up new opportunities for additive formulation business,” said Roger Dohmen, Head of BRB Lube Oil Additives & Chemicals. “Petrolad® 9332 is also designed to meet the requirements of motorcycle engine oils targeting JASO MA2 performance levels, making it an excellent choice for versatile blenders seeking to capture volume-driven growth in the global PCMO  (passenger car motor oils) and MCO (motorcycle oils) aftermarkets.”

Currently API SN quality oils account for more than 30% of the global  API passenger car lubricants market, according to industry analysts. In parallel, the currently lower rate of motorcycle electrification explains the foreseen growth in MCOs across APAC and Americas throughout the 2020s. BRB Lube Oil Additives & Chemicals is ready to tap the growth segment with new formulations and technology.

BRB Lube Oil Additives & Chemicals is introducing Petrolad® 9332 simultaneously across major markets in Europe, the United States, and key countries in Asia. Customers are encouraged to contact their designated sales representatives for technical details and support.
