Steve Mayo began his illustrious career in the lubricants industry in 1989, quickly establishing himself as a knowledgeable and reliable professional. His expertise and commitment to excellence propelled
him through various pivotal roles within the industry, working in Polartech, and Quaker Houghton for a
number of years, before culminating in his latest position of European Managing Director of Certas
Lubricant Solutions. Under his guidance, the company has seen remarkable growth and has solidified its position as a market leader.
During his tenure as President of the UKLA (2016-2017), Steve championed numerous initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability, innovation, and best practices within the lubricants sector. His efforts have not only enhanced the reputation of the UKLA but have also contributed to the overall progress and modernisation of the industry.
