  • Duckhams Signs New Distribution Partnership Agreement in Indonesia

    Iconic British lubricant brand Duckhams Oils has expanded its marketing network in Indonesia by signing a new distribution partnership agreement with PT Grande Bahana Nusa Semarang. GBN Group, a superior national distributor of lubricants and automotive products, has become the authorised Duckhams distributor for the Central Java region.

    At a special event, an agreement was signed by Mr Hendrik, Managing Director of PT Indonesia Lubricant Energy, as the master distributor of Duckhams Indonesia, and Mr Raveldho, President Director of PT Grande Bahana Nusa Semarang. The ceremony took place at the GBN Headquarters and was attended by guests, including business colleagues, academia and media representatives.

  • Duckhams Oils Awarded SIRIM Certification in Recognition of Product Quality

    Duckhams Oils have been awarded SIRIM Product Certification, confirming that Duckhams Lubricants meet strict safety, quality and regulatory standards. A SIRIM delegation led by Senior General Manager of SIRIM Marketing and Customer Experience, Mr Aminudin Bin Abd Aziz, presented the certificate to Johor Darul Ta’zim FC Chief Executive Officer and Technical Director Alistair Edwards.

    The United Kingdom Lubricants Association (UKLA) Metalworking Fluid Product Stewardship Group (MWFPSG) is proud to announce the launch of industry-leading videos based on the UKLA/HSE Good Practice Guidance for Managing Metalworking Fluids (MWFs).

    Produced in partnership with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), with the support of The University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, the videos have been developed for the industry by the industry. There are ten short stand-alone videos, to support and encourage greater compliance in the safe management of metalworking fluids.

  • Obituary: David Neadle

    We are sad to announce that David Neadle, former UKLA President (2003-2005), sadly passed away on 1st January 2023.

    David was a UKLA Board Member 1994-2009 and Chairman of the Metalworking Fluid Product Stewardship group until 2011. He was a founder member in 1968 of the British Lubricant Federation which subsequently merged in 2005 with the UK Delegation to UEIL to become the UKLA which we know today.
